The ongoing test series seems to be a victorious one for India. We are leading with a 2-0 tough competition and our players did make impressive runs, except for Virendar Sehwag who just scored 27 runs in a total of 3 innings. He opened innings along with Murali Vijay who has a record of good score summing up to 167 in the match that was held in Hyderabad. An experienced player was not even able to make a half century in one inning.
As this is the case, the selectors have decided that it is time for a change. In the next two test series, there are maximum chances that Sehwag will be replaced. So far according to sources, Sehwag had been removed and the player who would be replacing him had not been named. Now this is going to get interesting as the new player would be announced shortly.
Currently, there are 15 players in the squad and if Sehwag is removed then the squad will reach 14 players. If sources are to be believed, Delhi's Shikhar Dhawan will take over the position of Sehwag and will make his first test debut in the third test series against Australia. He will be opening the innings with Murali Vijay.
