Lord Buddha, the god of Chinese has many temples across the globe. In fact there are millions of devotees who visit Bodh Gaya every now and then. There is a strong belief that their god can bring in peace and prosperity. People even keep the statues of Buddha at their homes and even in their business establishments.

In this row, the world's tallest Buddha statue was unveiled on Wednesday at east China's Jiangxi Province. The Buddha statue is measured to be 48 meters tall and the majestic one has been built at  Donglin Temple. The Amitabha Buddha statue looks definitely like one of it's kind.

The entire statue had been built with bronze and is open for public now. Devotees are slowly crowding up in the place to view their god's gigantic statue. It is heard from sources that the statue was completely built using private donations. The statue was built at a total cost of about 1 billion yuan (USD 161 million).
